On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Lasagna, the disciples came to Garfield and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’”

So the disciples did as Garfield had directed them and prepared the Passover.

When evening came, Garfield was reclining at the table with the Twelve.

And while they were eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”

They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely you don’t mean me, Lord?”

Garfield replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.

The Son of Arbuckle will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Arbuckle! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

Then Lyman, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?”

Garfield answered, “You have said so.”

While they were eating, Garfield took lasagna, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Okay guys, I'm like a third of the way through watching John Carpenter's T/he Fog on Mubi and honestly, it's really not that great. Like, it's just some pretty classic B-movie shit, with a lot of uninspired dialogue and half-assed cinematography. To be completely frank with you, I'm not really paying that much attention. But the point is, Mubi is really great. If there were a super artsy indie version of Garfield, and also I guess it was a movie, it would be on there. But only for 30 days. Because that's how it works.

So like, not only do you not gotta deal with sifting through a bunch of lame-ass fuck bullshit movies & TV that no one in their right mind would ever give a flying ass-fuck about, but also it means that you won't be spending an extra hour of your evening arguing with your SO about what to watch. I'm guessing her name is Claire.

No, instead you get straight the fuck down to actually watching something that rules. Like John Carpenter's The Fog, which I might have watched while doing this write-up instead of listening to the podcast episode I'm supposed to be talking about since it was about to expire. Honestly though, I'm not worried about it; in fact I think I can fake my way through this episode. Let's see, Garfield something something... Possibly lasagna...
